Eyeon Inspection LLC

Mike Kahn is a Wisconsin and nationally licensed inspector. He is a graduate of ICA (Inspection Certification Associates), and a member of InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors), as well as Southeastern Wisconsin Real Estate Investor Group (SEWI).

Armed with a physics degree from UW-Milwaukee (UWM), and an electrical construction degree from Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) gives Mike the technical background to not only find potential issues, but understand the consequences. He has worked for 25 years as an engineer and engineering manager in a host of industries.

Mike has also owned rental property in Shorewood for over 25 years. This experience has enabled him to learn about items such as plumbing lines and fixtures, flooring, water heaters, electrical issues, windows, and structural elements. Repair and replacement of these items is done in a quality and timely fashion.

What to Expect

• What we do:

  Eyeon Inspection LLC will perform a competent and diligent inspection to detect observable conditions of a residential or commercial property. The inspection is a limited visual inspection designed to evaluate safety and functionality. The inspection report is the deliverable document. This document is typically delivered electronically, so you can quickly, easily, and effectively review text and pictures.

  The assessment is unbiased and intended to provide our clients with information to help them make informed decisions on a perspective property.

• We publish our fee range to ensure you know approximate costs even before you request a quote for your property. See our quotes page for specifics.

• We guarantee that we are available until you are satisfied,not when we need to go. No inspection is ever scheduled after yours so we can dedicate all the time required to do the job right. We don’t know how long the inspection will take or what questions you will have. This is unheard of in this business except with Eyeon!

  We will come back and reinspect after repairs of any item(s) have been conducted. Fee based on scope of the reinspection.

• What we don’t do:

  Moving items to inspect is outside the scope as well as anything unrelated to safety or functionality. We also won’t unnecessarily alarm our clients with items that may be in need of attention but of little consequence in the home purchase process. • Pre-Inspection Planning:

  Having an inspection contract in place is the best way to assure both Eyeon and our clients are in sync with expectations regarding the inspection. What we do and don’t do must be understood and agreed upon so we can proceed with fully defined expectations.

  The contract is part of the quote process to ensure we are on the same page from the start.
